
Sign-up for Nexus as a Subscriber
The following video fully outlines the process for applying for Nexus access as a subscriber
Important Note: As a subscriber, you must sign up for Nexus with your corporate e-mail address (i.e., e-mail address containing company domain). Otherwise, you will have limited access to Nexus.
Steps for Access:
- Verify Microsoft 365 Account: Confirm that the corporate email address you plan to use for Nexus sign-up is affiliated with a Microsoft 365 account. Steps on how to do so can be found in the following video: How to check Microsoft 365 account
- Complete the Nexus Account Request Form: Fill out the SSI Nexus Account Request Form found here: SSI Nexus Account Request Form
- Check for Invitation: Within 60 minutes, you should receive an invitation email from SharePoint Online, inviting you to the Nexus platform. Click the “Go to Nexus” link within the email. If you do not see the email in your inbox, check your spam or junk folder.
Sign-up for Nexus as a Non-Subscriber

Steps for Access:
- Verify Microsoft 365 Account: Confirm that the email address you plan to use for Nexus sign-up is affiliated with a Microsoft 365 account. You can follow the steps in this video: How to check Microsoft 365 account
- A. Looking for Nexus Access? Complete the Nexus Account Request Form: Fill out the SSI Nexus Account Request Form found here: SSI Nexus Account Request Form. If you are an independent user unaffiliated with any organization, enter “N/A” for Organization Name. You can also enter a personal address in the Work Email field.
B. Looking for Certified Training? Complete the Get a Trial Form: Fill out the Get a Trial form here: Get a Trial Form. If you are an independent user unaffiliated with any organization, enter “N/A” for Organization Name and Address. Leave the Company Website field as the default (https://www.example.com). - Check for Invitations: Within 60 minutes, you should receive either one or two emails, based on the steps followed:
- One from SharePoint Online, inviting you to the Nexus platform (if you completed 2A or 2B).
- One from SSI Training, indicating your Trial Access has been granted (if you completed 2B).
Click the “Go to Nexus” link in the SharePoint email. If you do not see these emails in your inbox, check your spam or junk folder.
Completed the SSI Nexus Account Request Form as a Non-Subscriber but interested in Certified Training?
No problem! Follow these steps:
- Wait for SharePoint Invitation: After filling out the SSI Nexus Account Request Form, wait for the SharePoint Online invitation email. Click the “Go to Nexus” link in the email. Note that initially, you won’t see the downloadable materials available on Nexus.
- Submit the Get a Trial Form: Return to the corporate website and submit the Get a Trial form here: Get a Trial Form. If you are unaffiliated with an organization, enter “N/A” for Organization Name and Address, and leave Company Website as the default.
- Receive Trial Access Confirmation: Within 60 minutes, you should receive an email from SSI Training confirming your trial access. Go back to the invitation email from SharePoint Online, click the “Go to Nexus” link, and you will now have full access to all available content on Nexus.

While we encourage you to use your company email for your SSI Nexus account, if your account is a Microsoft 365 account and your company manages the authentication for this account through an Active Directory / Federated Server (i.e. not through Microsoft themselves, but by linking up with their LAN/Domain authentication system), then we have had cases where this is not compatible with the authentication on SSI Nexus.
