SCHIFFKO, the design arm of the Wärtsilä Corporation, will utilize ShipConstructor’s complete suite of advanced 3D design, product modeling and production planning software.

The Hamburg-based, SCHIFFKO is recognized worldwide for specializing in the planning and design of container and research ships, pipe layers and offshore construction vessels and special vessels like icebreakers.
SCHIFFKO, which has successfully provided marine and ship design services for over 50 years, was recently re-named Wärtsilä Ship Design Germany. The SCHIFFKO name will be retained as a product brand for the company’s ship designs.
